Abstract

The recent work has reported only Long-tailed Minivet from Kashmir. We report the first record of Small Minivet from Kashmir with photographic evidence. The species was seen in Hirpora Wildlife Sanctury, which is an important biodiversity area but least explored for birds. Regular bird surveys should be conducted to explore the birdlife of areas like Hirpora Wildlife Sanctury.
