Pseudolepicolea trollii (Herzog) Grolle & Ando and Schiffneriolejeunea tumida (Nees) Gradst. were recorded for the first time in the bryoflora of Nagaland. This also constitutes the first report of the two genera from the state. Photomicrographic details of the plants have been provided for easy identification.
