Salsola oppositifolia Desf. in Great Rann of Kachchh, Gujarat – a new record for India

Abstract

A biodiversity survey of Great Rann of Kachchh  was carried out  from August 2021 to January 2022. During this survey,  Salsola oppositifolia Desf was recorded as a new record for the India. It was recorded from various localities of Great Rann of Kachchh. It included hilly outcrops, muddy saline, bunds on the fringes of the rann, etc.
