Description of male Orthochirus krishnai (Scorpiones: Buthidae) from India, with comments on its taxonomic status

Abstract

Tikader and Bastawade (1983) described Orthochirus krishnai based on two female specimens collected from Jodhpur district, Rajasthan. This communication deals with description of a male O. krishnai from a specimen collected in Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan, India. An attempt has been made to comments on the validity of this species.
