Description of a new species of the genus Indiopius Fischer (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) from India

Abstract

A new braconid species, Indiopius fischeri Samiuddin & Ahmad sp. nov. is described from India. Its distinguishing characters from other closely related species are in the upper mandibular tooth, maxillary palpi, mesosoma, hind femur and basal carina.
