Abstract

A naturally occurring infection with Trypanosome sp. was detected in a tigress from Van Vihar National Park and successfully treated with Quinapyramine salts. This case highlights the need for regular screening of animals for infectious/parasitic diseases and effective management against trypanosomiasis.
