Abstract

Ichthyscopus lebeck (Bloch & Schneider, 1801) is recorded for the first time from Visakhapatnam coastal waters, Andhra Pradesh, India.  The specimens were collected from Visakhapatnam fisheries harbour.   The morphometric and meristic characters, and description of the collected specimens are presented in this study.
