Abstract

The extended distributional record of two threatened species of Strobilanthes namely S. canarica and S. campanulata in Kerala is provided.  They exhibit narrow range of habitats in Western Ghats with highly restricted distribution.  Notes on taxonomy, phenology, distribution and conservation status are also given.
