New distributional record of a rare sedge Kobresia (Cyperaceae) from Sikkim, India

Abstract

Kobresia harae Rajbh. et H.Ohba (Cyperaceae) is reported for the first time from India. Nomenclature, description, phenology, habit, habitat, distribution and illustrations are provided here. The species is known so far from North Sikkim district only.
