Gonepteryx amintha thibetana, a pierid, is recorded from Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary, West Kameng District and Anini, Upper Dibang Valley District in Arunachal Pradesh. This species represents an addition to the butterfly fauna of India, though its type locality, Lalung, originally considered as part of southeastern Tibet, actually falls in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, IndiaPublished
