First record of Colyttus bilineatus Thorell, 1891 (Arachnida: Araneae: Salticidae) from India

Colyttus bilineatus Thorell, 1891, previously known only from Indonesia, is reported for the first time from India. This new locality highlights the faunal continuity between northeastern India and southeastern Asia. Diagnostic illustrations, habitat information and a distribution map are provided.
