First record of Xanthia (Cirrhia) icteritia (Hufnagel, 1766) (Noctuidae: Xyleninae) from India

Abstract
In the present paper, we report the first occurrence of the Xanthia (Cirrhia) icteritia (Hufnagel, 1766) (Noctuidae: Xyleninae) from the Indian subcontinent. The specimen was collected from Tehsil Herman, district Shopian of Kashmir valley, which is situated at the foothills of Pir Panjal Mountain range, northwestern Himalaya, India.
